Discovering Digital Storybooking
I really enjoy scrapbooking. When I first began scrapbooking, I didn’t have a lot of money to spend on it so I figured out ways to keep the costs down. For my wedding scrapbook, I cut out many of my embellishments from all of the cards we were given. I also used left-over ribbon and just got creative with my designs. As far as knowing what to do, I just looked at other people’s examples and learned as I went. I have never claimed to be an expert, I just enjoy doing.
Now, one thing I have not figured out how to do is cut down on is the time it takes to create a traditional scrapbook. I am a perfectionist, so I work on something until I am satisfied. This means that sometimes I may take several hours on one page. Plus, I do not have an area that I can leave my work out. These are my excuses for not completing either of my kids’ first year scrapbooks…let’s just say that I still have a long ways to go on both.
However, I have finally found a way that I can have time, not much to leave out, and no worries of my son running off with the scissors! DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING was the answer for me! Don’t get me wrong, I think traditional scrapbooking is wonderful, but I needed something that I could pick up and put down easily and make my digital pictures more assessable and convenient. I had not heard much of digital scrapbooking until I found the perfect company.
